Glenmore Park Basketball Club began in October 1998 by founding members the Keating family along with Daphne Clarke, Ben Mackie and Rochelle Dunsworth.
Glenmore Park Basketball Club teams are a part of the Penrith & Districts Basketball and is a junior basketball club located in Western Sydney.
The Club is administrated by a club committee, motivated by Volunteers. Games are played at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre.
The club’s colours resemble the Sydney King’s as well as keeping in line with the soccer colours (purple, gold and white) already in use.
This October we celebrate our 20 year anniversary!
Celebrations begin at the club’s presentation day on Saturday 29 September.

Welcome!
There are over 600,000 registered basketball players in Australia, with many hundreds of thousands more who play socially. It is a game that can be played by anybody, men, women, adults, children, old, young, the able-bodied and the disabled. Basketball truly is Everyone’s Game. There are also many thousands of people who enjoy the rewards of being regular coaches, referees, statisticians, scorekeepers, officials and administrators.
Joining Glenmore Park Basketball Club is easy – simply contact the club registrars (click here) or fill in the Contact Form and we’ll help you get into a team.
For children who haven’t played basketball before, we recommend attending the Learn to Play program through Penrith Basketball. Please contact 47313 252 for registration and further details.
u16s+ play either on a Friday night or Saturday.
u10s-u14s play on Saturdays.
Of a Saturday, girls play in the morning, boys play in the afternoon.
There is a Summer and Winter competition, so you can choose which season you would like to play, or play all year round!
