Glenmore Park Basketball Club began in October 1998 by founding members the Keating family along with Daphne Clarke, Ben Mackie and Rochelle Dunsworth.
Glenmore Park Basketball Club teams are a part of the Penrith & Districts Basketball and is a junior basketball club located in Western Sydney.
The Club is administrated by a club committee, motivated by Volunteers. Games are played at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre.
The club’s colours resemble the Sydney King’s as well as keeping in line with the soccer colours (purple, gold and white) already in use.
This October we celebrate our 20 year anniversary!
Celebrations begin at the club’s presentation day on Saturday 29 September.

Winter 2024 Registrations

Please contact the club before proceeding
In order to play basketball with us, you must register and pay your season membership on our registration page. In addition, all players must also be registered with Basketball NSW through Penrith Basketball Association. Please read below the fee's involved.
Once players are registered, they will be placed in age group teams based on their year of birth.
Below are this seasons age groups.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept registrations for players that are born 2006 or earlier.
Winter 2024 SEASON AGE GROUPS
U10 - born in 2015 or 2016
U12 - born in 2013 or 2014
U14 - born in 2011 or 2012
U16 - born in 2009 or 2010
U18 - born in 2007 or 2008
Glenmore Park Basketball Club Membership Fees
$70 registration fee.
(This includes 3 weeks of game fees)
Weekly game fees are $12.50 which covers court fees and training fees.
An invoice will be sent to you at the start of the season for payment.
Please note that prior season fees must be paid before registering.
Basketball NSW Registration Fees
Once confirmed in a team, all players need to be registered with Penrith Basketball Association / Basketball NSW prior to their first game.
This annual registration covers players insurances and must be renewed every 12 months.
Please ensure to select "New or Returning Player"
(unless you also play at another association e.g. Hawkesbury).
Active Kids Voucher
Please note the Active Kids Voucher is redeemable for the Penrith/Basketball NSW registration
not your membership or fees with Glenmore Park Basketball Club.
Uniform costs
The Club Jersey/Singlet is a mandatory purchase and is $48 and payable at the time of joining.

Black basketball shorts are mandatory (plain black, no zippers, no pockets, no stripes or logos) and can be purchased at Rebel Sports, Best & Less, Target, Kmart or Soul Sports.
*Please note: Correct uniform is compulsory at every game (according to PDBA by-laws). Teams will lose competition points should a player be out of uniform).
Game Day
Game times may vary each week, you will receive notice at the start of the season what their first game will be. Then each week you are encouraged to look at the Game Day App which will give you the details in case they change.

Most games are played at the basketball stadium at Cambridge Park. The venue address is:

Alternate venues may be used if required.
Training
The club will inform you of location, day and time training is held close to the start of the season.
