Summer 2026/2027 

 Player registration is open from 
23rd August - 20th September

In order to play basketball with our club there are 2 steps to complete the registration process.

 

You must register and pay the Glenmore Park Basketball Club membership for the season on our registration page.

Further details below.

 

In addition, all players must also be a registered member of Basketball NSW through Penrith District Basketball Association.

Please be aware of the fee's involved as they are separate to our club membership.

They can be found on the Penrith District Basketball association website.

This is a 6 or 12 month membership that begins on the day you pay the registration.

Please only complete this once your child has been placed into a team.

Once players are registered with our club, they will be placed in age group teams based on their year of birth.

Below is the current season age groups.

 Unfortunately, we cannot accept registrations for players that are born 2009 or earlier. 

 

 

 Summer 26/27 Season Age Groups 

U10 - born in 2018 or 2019

U12 - born in 2016 or 2017

U14 - born in 2014 or 2015

U16 - born in 2012 or 2013

U18 - born in 2010 or 2011

  Glenmore Park Basketball Club Membership Fees  

$60 registration fee.

Season Invoice Fee $245.

(covers all game and training fees, including finals)​

 

Total GPBC Fees: $305 per player, per season.

 

An invoice is issued throughout each season, with payment plan options available if required.

Please note: All outstanding fees from previous seasons must be paid before registering.

If you are transferring to another club, ALL fees must be up to date before a player can transfer. Do not complete this form if you are transferring to another club.

  PDBA / Basketball NSW Registration Fees  

Once confirmed in a team, all players need to be registered with Penrith Basketball Association / Basketball NSW prior to their first game.

 

This annual registration covers players insurances and must be renewed every 6 or 12 months.

 

We will send a unique seasonal link before the season starts to complete the PDBA registration.

 

Please dont register or pay it directly from the PDBA website.

 Active Kids Voucher 

The Active Kids Voucher is redeemable for either the GPBC game fees or the Penrith/Basketball NSW registration,

not your membership fee with Glenmore Park Basketball Club.

Contact the club for more information if you would like to use a voucher.

 Uniform 

The Club Jersey/Singlet is a mandatory purchase and is $50 and payable once the player has been placed in a team.

If you need to purchase or reorder a jersey, please head to our Uniforms page for more details on how to order.


Black basketball shorts are also mandatory (plain black, no zippers, no pockets, no stripes or logos).

 They can be purchased at Rebel Sports, Best & Less, Target, Kmart or Soul Sports.


*Please note: Correct uniform is compulsory at every game (according to PDBA by-laws).

Teams will lose competition points should a player be out of uniform.

 Basketball Sizes 

Its important that your child has the correct size ball for their age group to ensure they develop ball handling skills.

We recommend that your child brings their own ball to the weekly training sessions.

 

 

 Basketball Connect App 

Game times may vary each week, you will receive emails at the start of the season confirming what the first game time will be.

Then each week you are encouraged to look at the Basketball Connect App which will give you the details in case they change.

 Game Day and Location 

Games are played between Monday and Saturday across multiple venues within the Penrith Local Government Area.

 

Game day, times and venues will be confirmed once the competition draws are released just before the start of the season.

Please note that this schedule can be updated by PDBA at anytime, including throughout the season.

 Weekly Team Training 

The club will inform you of location, day and time training is held close to the start of the season. While this is not a mandatory requirement we highly recommend your child to attend the training sessions.

Teams currently train at the Penrith Stadium or Glenmore Park High School of an afternoon/evening.

You must read and agree to the Club policies, by laws and Codes of Conduct

as shown under the Resources menu. Here you will also find more general information.

Please note that prior season fees must be paid before registering.

 Social Media 

If you are on social media, please follow our club Facebook page found below, as we will often post urgent information on

our page and also team photos and other club achievements. Its a great way to stay connected with our club community.

We also use Instagram to highlight team achievements and special events. Please join our Instagram community.

We also set up individual team WhatsApp groups at the commencement of the season so that teams can easily communicate with each other. The link for these will be sent out via email once teams are finalised.
